What to expect
- Vehicle: Starship (Ship 37) atop Super Heavy (Booster 16).
- Mission: Deploy 8 dummy Starlink satellites and run experiments focused on enabling the Starship upper stage to return to the launch site in future tests.
- Duration: ~1 hour, ending with a splashdown of the upper stage in the Indian Ocean.

Weather is currently assessed to be about 45% favorable, so delays are possible. SpaceX has backup launch opportunities on Aug 25 and 26.
Context
This flight follows earlier setbacks during Flights 7–9 and a June ground explosion during static-fire testing. Flight 10 is another development test aimed at gathering data to progress Starship toward operational flights and future human missions.
