Trump Mobile’s T1 promos use edited photos of other phones — no real device shown
Since the T1 smartphone was announced in June, Trump Mobile’s promotional material has increasingly drawn skepticism. Multiple outlets have identified that the official images appear to be badly edited photos of existing phones, rather than photographs of a real T1 device.
What was found
- Promotional renders show different phones converted to a gold finish — examples include what looks like a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (with a visible Spigen case/logo), an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and a Revvl 7 Pro 5G.
- Claims that the T1 would be “Made in the USA” were quietly removed from Trump Mobile’s site, raising further doubts about the project’s transparency.
- Outlets calling out the images include Engadget, AppleInsider, Notebookcheck, PhoneArena and others.
