Adobe brings Premiere to iPhone and iPad (replacing Premiere Rush)

Adobe has launched a new Premiere app for iPhone and iPad, replacing the older Premiere Rush. The app is available for pre-order in the App Store and is scheduled to roll out at the end of September.

• Multitrack timeline and Premiere Pro-style interface for more advanced editing on mobile
• 4K HDR support and single-tap exports optimized for social platforms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram)
• Trim, overlay audio, captions, voiceover recording, Lightroom color presets
• Free to use with no watermarks; optional in-app subscriptions add generative AI features (sound effects, speech enhancement) and extra cloud storage

What this means

The new Premiere mobile app is a clear upgrade over Premiere Rush, aimed at creators who want a more powerful, multitrack editing experience on iPhone and iPad. Adobe is also planning an Android version later.
