Amazon Fall Hardware Event — Sept 30, 2025: What to Expect
Amazon has scheduled a press event for September 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM ET. Panos Panay, head of Amazon’s Devices & Services group, is expected to present — a strong sign the company will reveal new hardware.
What the invite suggests
The press invite reportedly included a composite image showing what appear to be a Kindle e-reader, a Fire TV device, and an Echo speaker. Those are three of Amazon’s major device categories, so updates across multiple product lines are possible.
Rumors & possible announcements
- Kindle: An updated entry-level Kindle or refreshed Paperwhite could arrive — possible improvements include brighter front lights, better battery life, or updated e-ink options.
- Echo: A redesigned standard Echo with improved sound and tighter Alexa/AI integrations (e.g., new Alexa+ features) is plausible; the standard Echo hasn’t seen a redesign in several years.
- Fire TV: New Fire TV hardware or streaming sticks with faster chips, improved HDR/4K support, and deeper Alexa features are also possible. The invite image is a bit fuzzy here and could alternatively hint at a tablet.
