Hollow Knight: Silksong — First Patch Notes, Nerfs & Fixes
Team Cherry has released the first post-launch patch for Hollow Knight: Silksong. The update brings a slight difficulty reduction for early bosses, multiple bug fixes, and several balance tweaks and reward increases.
Highlights
- Difficulty changes: Early bosses Moorwing and Sister Splinter received slight nerfs (lower damage / adjusted attacks).
- Enemy & economy tweaks: Reduced damage from Sandcarvers; small price reductions at mid-game vendors.
- Reward increases: More rosary rewards from relics, psalm cylinders, and courier deliveries. These increases are retroactive.
- Bug fixes: Fixes for cloakless state, floating/stuck issues, courier delivery access, quest progression soft-locks, and other stability fixes.
- Availability: Public beta branch is available on PC (Steam/GOG) now; full rollout expected mid next week.

The patch responds to player feedback about early-game difficulty; Team Cherry has indicated more fixes are in progress. If you want the fixes immediately, opt into the public beta on Steam/GOG.
