With iOS 26 Apple expanded Home Screen personalization: app icons and widgets can now be subtly tinted to match the exact color of your iPhone model — and even the color of compatible MagSafe cases. The effect adjusts brightness and contrast so icons blend seamlessly with your device’s hardware tone (Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange, Silver, etc.).
How it works
iOS 26 detects the device color (and compatible case color) and applies a matching tint to Home Screen icons and widgets for a more cohesive look. This feature builds on previous Home Screen customization options and adds deeper device-aware theming.
