iPhone 16: Apple drops larger storage options — 128GB now €849
After the iPhone 17 presentation, Apple has adjusted the iPhone 16 lineup. The standard iPhone 16 is now offered only with 128 GB of storage and is priced at €849 in the Apple Store — €100 less than before. The previously available 256 GB (€1,079) and 512 GB (€1,329) versions have been discontinued.
What changed
- Base model: 128 GB only — €849
- 256 GB and 512 GB options removed
Implications: Users who needed more onboard storage will now need to choose iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max (if available) or rely on cloud storage and external solutions. For shopping, see Apple’s iPhone 16 page and an Amazon product search below.
