Lenovo ThinkBook Vertiflex Concept — IFA 2025
Lenovo showed a new concept laptop at IFA 2025: the ThinkBook Vertiflex Concept. At first glance it looks like a standard 14″ clamshell, but its display can rotate 90° into portrait mode — useful for coding, vertical photos/videos and social feeds.
Key points
- Rotating 14″ display that switches to portrait mode
- Lightweight and slim: ~3 lbs and 0.7″ thin
- Connectivity: 2× USB-C, 1× USB-A, full-size HDMI, 3.5mm audio, microSD slot
- Smart Connect: pairs with your phone to mirror/extend or drag-and-drop files
- Concept device — Lenovo has not announced retail availability or preorders
Related concept: Smart Motion
Lenovo also demoed the Smart Motion Concept, a sensor-driven laptop stand that repositions the screen to keep your face framed and supports an optional gesture ring for manual control.
Availability
Both devices are experimental concept prototypes shown at IFA. Lenovo has not listed them for sale.
