Toniebox 2 now available: games, USB‑C and sunrise alarm

The Düsseldorf-based company Tonies has launched the Toniebox 2, expanding its line of child-friendly audio players. The new model keeps the familiar figure‑on‑top NFC playback concept but adds several notable updates:

• Interactive games (Tonieplay) — new interactive play experiences built into the box.
• USB‑C charging — modernized charging port for easier use.
• Sunrise alarm — gentle wake-up light to support children’s sleep routines.
• Compatibility — continues to support all existing Tonies figures.
• Design & battery — refreshed design, new color options and improved battery life.

Availability: After a preorder phase the Toniebox 2 is now appearing in retail and online. According to manufacturer announcements, the device launched in the UK on September 15, 2025, with wider availability in the US following in early October 2025. It is sold through Tonies’ official channels, select stores (including FAO Schwarz for an early US launch), and major retailers.
