Valve has rolled out a redesigned Steam Store menu after months of beta testing. The update — available on the standard Steam PC client, Steam Deck and Steam Mobile — focuses on making it easier to find games by streamlining navigation and improving search and recommendations.
What’s changed
- Single top search/navigation bar replaces previous top/left menus for a cleaner layout.
- Grouped search filters (Top sellers, New releases, Discounts, etc.) collected in a colorful, easy-to-access menu.
- New “Categories” pull-down that tailors the feed using your top genres and suggested tags to surface similar games.
- Upgraded search suggestions: common searches and recently viewed/searched games now appear for faster discovery.
Why it matters
The store felt cluttered for many users; this redesign aims to make browsing and discovery smoother and more personalized. If you’ve been frustrated by finding the sections you visit most, this should help.
How to get it
The update is rolling out now. Open your preferred Steam client (PC, Steam Deck or Mobile) and check the store to see the new menu. You can also visit the Steam storefront directly: https://store.steampowered.com/
