Yakuza Kiwami 3 reportedly leaked on Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio site ahead of TGS
Shortly before the RGG Summit at Tokyo Game Show 2025, fans noticed that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s official Japanese website briefly listed “龍が如く 極3” (Yakuza Kiwami 3) in a category list. Screencaps circulated on social media before the entry was removed, suggesting an accidental reveal.
Translated note from a Japanese social post shown in screencaps:
“It seems ‘Ryu ga Gotoku Kiwami 3’ was listed in the category list on the RGG official site this evening.”
Why it matters: Yakuza 3 originally launched on PlayStation 3 in 2009 and later received remasters for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A full “Kiwami”-style remake would modernize the third game in the series and will likely excite longtime fans — and the timing ahead of TGS makes an official announcement plausible.
Current status: No official confirmation from Sega or RGG Studio yet — only the brief listing and social screencaps. Expect an announcement if RGG holds their scheduled TGS showcase.
