PS Plus October Adds Silent Hill 2 & Until Dawn Remakes — Plus Alan Wake 2 for All Members

PS Plus Adds Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn Remakes in Time for Halloween

Sony is beefing up its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for October with a spooky lineup of horror and big-name titles. Starting October 21, Extra and Premium subscribers can play the PS5 remakes of Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn at no extra charge. Meanwhile, all PS Plus members can claim Alan Wake 2 this month.

Both remakes launched last October, so their arrival on PS Plus comes roughly a year after release — perfect timing for Halloween playthroughs. The drop also includes a mix of genres, from action-RPGs to indie horror.

  • Available Oct 21 (Extra & Premium): Silent Hill 2 (PS5), Until Dawn (PS5)
  • Claimable by all members: Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, Goat Simulator 3
  • Other Game Catalog additions: Yakuza: Like A Dragon (PS4/PS5), As Dusk Falls (PS4/PS5), Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 (PS4/PS5), Wizard with a Gun (PS5), V Rising (PS5)
  • Premium classic: Tekken 3 (PS4/PS5) joins as a retro addition for Premium subscribers.

These additions offer something for players craving a horror marathon as well as fans of sprawling RPGs and quirky indie titles. If you missed these releases last year, now’s a great opportunity to try the remakes without buying them outright.
