Simogo Legacy Collection arrives Dec 2 — Year Walk, Device 6 and more preserved for Steam & Nintendo
Indie studio Simogo is celebrating its 15th anniversary by bringing its seven early mobile titles to new platforms. The Simogo Legacy Collection — which includes Year Walk, Device 6 and five other games from 2010–2015 — launches on December 2 for $15.
The collection aims to preserve the original mobile experience while making the games playable on Steam, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Simogo says it made minimal changes to keep the games feeling authentic and added support for multiple input methods so players can choose how they want to play.
What’s included
- All seven early Simogo mobile games (2010–2015), including Year Walk and Device 6.
- Touchscreen controls on Switch and Switch 2 to match the original mobile experience.
- Support for mouse, controllers and motion controls; Switch 2 adds dual mouse support.
- Extras such as an ebook of Year Walk side stories, a podcast for The Sailor’s Dream, additional music and playable prototypes.
What else Simogo announced
The studio is also porting its more recent games to Switch 2: Lorelei and the Laser Eyes and Sayonara Wild Hearts are expected in early 2026. Sayonara Wild Hearts will also return to iOS as a paid app next year after leaving Apple Arcade in 2024.
To mark the anniversary, Simogo has partnered with Lost in Cult on a 250‑page coffee table book titled Heartbeats, Dreams and Laser Eyes: 15 years of Simogo. Pre‑orders open now; a deluxe edition with extras (signed bookplate for the first 300 copies) is planned and shipping is expected in late 2026.
Why it matters
Many mobile games risk disappearing or becoming unplayable as devices and operating systems evolve. Simogo’s collection is a preservation effort that keeps these influential indie titles accessible while offering modern conveniences like multiple input support and bonus material for fans and newcomers alike.
