Steam outage: Services returning online

Steam experienced an outage on Oct 7, 2025. The Steam Store, Steam Community and Web API were reported offline earlier, causing errors in the Steam Deck and mobile app UIs (pages loaded as empty wrappers). Services appear to be coming back online and pages are loading normally again.

Steamstat.us recorded heavy traffic during the outage — about 1,534,000 page views in the past hour — indicating many users checking status. PC Gamer also reported that APIs for Valve first-party titles (including Counter-Strike 2 and Deadlock) were affected earlier.
