Tom by TomTom now available for pre-order — speed camera alerts arrive in Germany

TomTom has expanded its product range with a new traffic alert device called Tom by TomTom. The screenless unit uses LEDs and an audio buzzer to warn drivers about speed cameras, traffic incidents and road hazards. It pairs with the free TomTom mobile app (available for iOS and Android) which provides the live data while running in the background.
