Vodafone boosts CallYa prepaid plans in December — more data, same prices
Vodafone Germany is adjusting its CallYa prepaid lineup starting in December, increasing data allowances while keeping prices unchanged. The updates apply automatically to both new and existing customers and require no separate activation.
One clear example: the CallYa Start plan now includes 2 GB of data instead of 1 GB while remaining priced at €4.99. Vodafone also notes support for eSIM activation and access to its 5G network where available.
What this means for customers
- Automatic upgrade: Changes are rolled out to accounts without customers needing to opt in.
- More value: Higher data allowances at the same monthly cost give prepaid users better bang for their buck.
- eSIM & 5G ready: Vodafone highlights eSIM support and 5G access for compatible devices and plans.
Vodafone’s move follows a broader trend among carriers to sweeten prepaid offers amid competitive pressure and a push to expand 5G adoption. If you’re on a CallYa plan, check your account or Vodafone’s website to confirm the updated allowance for your specific tariff.
