NVIDIA GeForce NOW Upgrade – RTX 5080 & More!

NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW is set for a major upgrade starting September 2025. Ultimate tier subscribers ($20/month) can look forward to RTX 5080 GPUs supporting 5K streaming at 120fps with advanced DLSS features. This upgrade maintains the current subscription rate and offers other benefits like 2.8 times faster performance compared to previous RTX 4080 servers, thanks to Multi-Frame Generation technology.

The update also introduces the new Cinematic Quality Streaming (CQS) for enhanced image quality, supporting up to 100 Mbps streams. Game enthusiasts will have access to a growing library aiming for 4,500 titles by year-end, with popular games like *Doom*, *Indiana Jones*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, and *Flight Simulator* available at launch.

Users can expect maximum playtime of 100 hours per month in the Ultimate tier, with enhanced DLSS features further improving visual performance. In terms of device support, GeForce NOW will offer 90fps streaming on devices like the Steam Deck and 5K streaming on LG OLED TVs.

Additionally, the service continues to offer a free ad-supported tier and a $9.99/month Performance tier for less intensive gaming experiences.

These exciting updates will start rolling out in September 2025, with more details and testing outcomes to be shared soon.
