At their recent event, Google introduced Pixelsnap, a groundbreaking magnetic attachment system for the new Pixel 10 series. This innovative technology allows users to easily snap on wireless chargers, stands, grips, and numerous other accessories. Pixelsnap is Google’s response to Apple’s MagSafe technology and integrates seamlessly with the Qi2 wireless chargers, supporting charging speeds up to 25W.
In addition to the Pixelsnap charger, Google has announced a Pixelsnap Ring Stand for hands-free viewing, along with a selection of phone cases. The ecosystem includes third-party accessories like car mounts, wallets, and grips, all leveraging the Pixelsnap technology. The Pixelsnap wireless charger is priced at $40, while the charger with a stand is $70. The Ring Stand starts at $30, and cases start at $50. Notably, Pixel 10 phones with these cases can still attach and charge wirelessly using Pixelsnap.
