AI advancements in Pixel 10 series unveiled

Google unveiled a range of new AI features at its Made by Google event in New York, focusing on enhancing the Pixel 10 series. The “Magic Cue” feature provides contextual conversation suggestions using Google’s on-device model, Gemini Nano. For instance, it can suggest sending a Google Maps link if you’re discussing a dinner reservation. This feature utilizes a digital paper trail from your accounts to offer relevant shortcuts.

The AI scope extends to “Daily Hub” on the Discover page, offering a daily briefing with weather forecasts, calendar events, and reminders sourced from various Google apps. Additionally, a new Journal app includes AI-driven features to suggest photos and categorize entries automatically.

Google Photos introduces “Conversational Editing,” allowing users to edit images using voice or text prompts for customization, enabling advanced edits like removing people from photos in crowded settings.

These features aim to streamline user experience through AI integration across the Pixel 10 series, highlighting Google’s commitment to evolving the smartphone experience through intelligent design.
