Stay for Mac — reported free, but still paid on the Mac App Store

A recent report claimed that Stay, the Mac utility from CordlessDog that saves and restores application window positions, is now available as a free full version. I checked the official sources before posting:

Key facts:

• Stay was originally released around 2010.
• It saves and restores window layouts — especially useful when using external monitors.
• Despite the report claiming it became permanently free, the Mac App Store currently lists Stay as a paid app.
