Apple Watch Series 11 — 5G, Hypertension Alerts, Sleep Score: Pre-orders Open

Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 11 at its “Awe Dropping” event. Pre-orders opened today and units ship on September 19, 2025. Key pricing: $399 (42mm GPS), $429 (46mm), and the titanium model starts at $699 (cellular included).

What’s new

  • Hypertension alerts: A new algorithm using the optical heart sensor analyzes patterns over time to flag possible high blood pressure. Apple says the feature could alert over a million people in its first year — availability depends on FDA clearance.
  • 5G cellular: Cellular models now use 5G (instead of LTE) for faster, more efficient connections.
  • Sleep Score: New sleep scoring analyzes duration, consistency and awake time to give actionable feedback.
  • Durability & materials: IonX glass with a bonded ceramic coating (2x scratch resistance), 100% recycled aluminum case options, and polished recycled titanium options.
  • Battery: Up to 24 hours thanks to a redesigned battery.
  • Software: Ships with watchOS 26, featuring the Liquid Glass design and new watch faces like Flow and Exactograph.
