Here’s a recap of the most notable indie news this week (no RSS links included):

Biggest headlines

  • Hades 2 — Supergiant confirmed a full launch on Sept 25 for Switch, Switch 2, Steam and the Epic Games Store. More info: Supergiant Games announcement.
  • Lynked: Banner of the Spark — Shadowdropped on Switch (also available on Switch 2 with mouse control and GameShare support).
  • Popucom — Multiplayer platformer from Hypergryph; coming to Switch this holiday.

New releases & out of early access

  • Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game — A low-fi slice-of-life puzzle/detective game from Posh Cat Studio, out now on Steam. It normally costs about $10 and has a 10% discount until Sept 23. Steam search: find on Steam.
  • Disc Golf City — Out of early access on Steam for PC/Mac/Linux; colorful, trick-shot focused disc golf. Demo available. Steam search: find on Steam.
  • Beyond Sunset — Cyberpunk FPS with vaporwave aesthetics left early access on Steam and GOG. Steam search: find on Steam.
  • Katanaut — Roguelite Metroidvania on Steam; Acclaim picked up publishing duties (check Steam for the store page): find on Steam.

Upcoming/DLC

  • Pacific Drive: Whispers in the Woods — Expansion announced; adds ~8–12 hours of new content, new characters and anomalies. Check the Pacific Drive or Steam page for updates: find Pacific Drive on Steam.
  • Acclaim showcase highlights — Acclaim showed a slate of indie titles, including GridBeat (rhythm/puzzle/dungeon crawler from Ridiculous Games), Basketball Classics (retro arcade basketball heading to consoles via Acclaim), Pixel Washer (cute power-washer piggy from Valadria) and HyperYuki: Snowboard Syndicate (SSX + Jet Set Radio vibes; supports split-screen & online up to 8 players). Acclaim says it’s exploring console releases for these titles.
