AppHub (LaunchNow) — Launchpad alternative for macOS Tahoe
Apple removed the classic Launchpad app in macOS Tahoe and replaced it with a Spotlight-centric app launcher. If you miss Launchpad’s grid layout and folder management, a community alternative called LaunchNow (often referenced as AppHub in some coverage) restores many familiar Launchpad features.
What LaunchNow/AppHub offers
- Classic Launchpad-like grid and Tahoe-style layouts
- Create folders and rearrange app icons via drag-and-drop
- Keyboard navigation and app search
- Free and open-source (GitHub-hosted)
- Designed for macOS Tahoe (macOS 26) as a third-party workaround

Notes
- This is an unofficial, community-developed tool (not Apple-supported).
- Community feedback so far praises it for restoring Launchpad-like behavior, though it’s a workaround rather than an integrated Apple feature.
