Disney+ arrives on Meta Quest headsets in the US with Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos
Meta has added Disney+ to its Quest headset lineup in the United States. The app is available on the latest Horizon OS and can be accessed through the new Horizon TV hub, which consolidates streaming services and supports advanced audiovisual features.
Subscribers can now enjoy a selection of Disney+ titles with enhanced visuals and audio in VR: Meta says a “select” number of titles are available in Dolby Vision 4K HDR, more than 100 titles support 4K UHD/HDR, and Disney+ Premium subscribers can stream with Dolby Atmos sound. Some Marvel and Pixar films also support IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio in compatible titles.
