Square Enix Announces Kingdom Hearts Coming Soon to Steam

## Kingdom Hearts Coming to Steam

### A New Era for Kingdom Hearts Fans

I’ve been having these weird thoughts lately… like, should I go back and replay the Kingdom Hearts series or not? Fortunately, Square Enix has made this decision trivial with the recent announcement that it’s releasing the beloved series on Steam on June 13th.

To celebrate—and perhaps destabilize an entire generation of adults for whom the first Kingdom Hearts trailer was a transformative experience (read: me)—Square Enix released a new trailer featuring a fresh recording of the iconic song, “Simple and Clean” by Hikaru Utada. It’s an emotional trip back in time.

### Smart Marketing, Clear Messaging

The trailer was executed very cleverly, showing snippets of the Kingdom Hearts games in chronological order. This not only serves as a marketing tool but also subtly hints at the suggested order in which the games should be played. This is particularly helpful for newcomers and lapsed fans who might be wondering where to start.

### Three Collections

Steam will have three collections available, each encompassing different entries and spin-offs from the expansive Kingdom Hearts universe. It’s a convenient way to dive back into the magical world that fuses Disney’s charm and Square Enix’s storytelling.

If you’ve been on the fence about revisiting the series, this Steam release might be the perfect excuse to jump back in. Whether you’re a hardened fan or someone new to the series, there’s never been a better time to experience the epic tale of Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Mark your calendars for June 13th—your next great adventure awaits!
